In the case of specific product or service terms in addition to these general terms, the most favourable provisions to the customer will prevail in case of conflict.

Any situation not covered in these Terms shall be interpreted in the spirit of transparency and fairness. Ambiguities will be resolved based on the overall intent of these Terms.

Article 4 – Offers

If an offer has a limited duration or is subject to specific conditions, this will be clearly stated in the offer.

All offers are non-binding. Dorte Maison reserves the right to change or withdraw any offer.

Product descriptions are presented as accurately as possible. Images used are for illustrative purposes only. Obvious errors in pricing or descriptions do not bind Dorte Maison.

All offers will specify clearly:

  • The price (excluding import duties and applicable taxes, which are the responsibility of the customer and often collected by the delivery carrier);

  • Any applicable shipping fees;

  • The steps required to complete a purchase;

  • Whether a withdrawal right applies;

  • Accepted payment methods and fulfillment process;

  • The validity of the offer;

  • Any costs related to distance communication (if applicable);

  • How the contract is stored and accessible to the consumer;

  • How the customer can review or correct their order before submitting;

  • Languages available for the contract (English and/or French);

  • Any applicable codes of conduct;

  • Minimum contract duration (for subscriptions or recurring services, if applicable);

  • Optional details such as sizes, materials, and colours.

Article 5 – The Contract

The contract is concluded once the customer accepts the offer and complies with the specified conditions.

If the purchase is made electronically, Dorte Maison will acknowledge receipt of the order without undue delay. Until this confirmation is sent, the customer may cancel the transaction.

Dorte Maison employs industry-standard data protection protocols to secure all electronic transactions and personal information.

Dorte Maison reserves the right to verify a customer's ability to fulfill payment obligations. If legitimate concerns arise, we may refuse an order or apply additional terms.

Upon confirmation of the order, the customer will receive the following:

  • Our business address;

  • Instructions regarding returns or the lack thereof;

  • Information about legal guarantees and after-sales service;

  • Key elements of the offer (if not already communicated);

  • Cancellation terms if the agreement is ongoing or longer than 12 months.

For recurring orders (subscriptions), the above applies only to the first delivery.

All contracts are subject to product availability.
